ORAL ORDER
(PER : HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE AKIL KURESHI)
1. Case of the petitioner is that the department on erroneous interpretation of the circular, did not grant benefit of DEPB. The petitioner succeeded before the Supreme Court after the High Court dismissed the writ petition. The department has granted said DEPB benefits, however, without any interest on delayed release of DEPB. The petitioner has, thus, lost interest for the period of nearly 16 years in the process.
2. NOTICE, returnable on 10.11.2016. Direct service is permitted.
