Section 30(2)(a) in Uttar Pradesh Ground Water (Management and Regulation) Act, 2019

(a)the farmers shall ensure that by applying desired quantity of irrigation water/ number of watering to the crops as per the requirement of watering scientifically recommended for different crops that the wastage of ground water and over irrigation is avoided;
