Section 16(1) in Andhra Pradesh Municipal Councils/Nagar Panchayats (Direct Election of Chairperson) Rules, 1986
(1)Every person nominated as a candidate for an election may appoint in writing some other person to be his election agent. The appointment shall be in Form-V and notice of appointment shall be given in writing to the Election Officer.
