Section 21 in Jammu and Kashmir Co-Operative Societies Act, 1989
21. Manner of exercising vote.
(1)Every member of a Co-operative Society shall exercise his vote in person and no member shall be permitted to vote by proxy.(2)Notwithstanding anything contained in Sub-section (1) a Co-operative Society which is a member of another Co-operative Society may, subject to any rules made under this Act, authorise one of its members to vote on its behalf in the affairs of the other Society.
