2. Extension of portions of the Police Act, 1861, to the town and suburbs of Calcutta. -
The portions of the Police Act, 1861 as amended by the Police Act (1861) Amendment Act, 1895, which are specified in the first column of the Schedule to this Act are hereby extended, subject to the modifications set forth in the second column of that Schedule, to-| Portions of the Police Act, 1861, extended. | Modifications. |
