Section 12(2) in The Chhattisgarh Municipal Service (Executive) Rules, 1973
(2)The list drawn by the Commission shall be submitted to the State Government and also be published for general information. The State Government shall consider the list prepared by the Commission for appointment in accordance with the provisions of the Act and these rules, in the order in which their names appear in the list.
