Section 1 in Telangana Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Act, 1958
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act May Be Called The [Telangana] [Substituted by G.O.Ms.No.45, Law (F) Department, dated 01.06.2016.] Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Act, 1958.(2)It extends to the whole of the [State of Telangana] [Substituted by G.O.Ms.No.45, Law (F) Department, dated 01.06.2016.].(3)It shall come into force on such [date] [Deemed to have come into force on 1st October, 1958.] as the State Government may, by notification in the Telangana Gazette appoint; and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Act or for different areas or for different classes of undertakings or for different classes of goods, by notifications issued from time to time.
