Section 5(1) in The Himachal Pradesh Land Revenue (Fees for Inspection & Copies of Extracts from Patwari's records Rules, 1980
(1)No fee for doing work for the State Government, such as the preparation of an extract from the revenue records to show the property owned by an abscounding criminal, shall be charged. Patwaris shall however, not be required to furnish such an extract without a special order of the Deputy Commissioner in each case, and such an order shall only be passed if the case is of real importance
