The appellant has sought the following information:
1. Criteria for merit list for admission in M. Phil - Ph.D. programmes followed by the university for 2015-16.
2. Criteria for merit list for admission in M. Phil - Ph.D. programmes followed by the university for 2016-17.
3. Candidate wise written score in the CUG entrance test in M. Phil. - Ph.D. in Comparative Literature for 2016-17.1
4. Copy of the interview score sheet for all candidates in the CUG entrance test for 2016-17 in M.Phil. - Ph.D. in Comparative Literature for 2016-17 as submitted, signed collectively by the interview panel members for Comparative Literature and Translation Studies, to the controller of examination, CUG.
Grounds for Second Appeal The CPIO did not provide the desired information. Submissions made by Appellant and Respondent during Hearing:
The Appellant has not availed of the opportunity to plead her case despite duly served notice vide speed post acknowledgment no. ED048537178IN. Attempts were made to contact her over phone but she did not attend the phone.
The CPIO submitted that the identical RTI application dated 25.07.2016 pertaining to the same appellant was adjudicated by a coordinate bench of the Commission on 09.03.2018 in case no. CIC/CUGUJ/A/2017/102904-BJ vide its decision dated 12.03.2018. He further submitted that the said order was duly complied with on 11.04.2018.
Observations:
Based on a perusal of the records, it is noted that the identical RTI application was already adjudicated as mentioned above.
Decision:
In view of the above facts, the present appeal is infructuous.
The appeal is dismissed accordingly.
