Section 8A(1) in The Bihar Electricity Duty Act, 1948
(1)The prescribed authority may either before or after the institution of proceedings under section 8, accept from a licensee or other persons charged with an offence under the said section or under any rule made under this Act, by way of composition of the offence, a sum not exceeding seven hundred and fifty rupees.
