Section 18A(1) in The Rajasthan Irrigation and Drainage Act, 1954
(1)Notwithstanding anything contained in sections 16, 17 and 18, in any area to which the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, apply the provisions of this section, a Divisional Irrigation Officer may, be notice, require a person to construct and maintain, or a number of persons jointly to construct and maintain, a water- course at his or their own expense.
