Section 17(2) in The Gujarat Housing Board Act, 1961
(2)Subject to any rules made under section 73, the Board may from time to time appoint one or more other Committees for the purposes of securing the efficient discharge of its functions and in particular for the purpose of securing that the said functions are exercised with due regard to the circumstances and requirements of particular local areas.
