4. Up-gradation of the existing Hojai College to Rabindranath Tagore University.

- From the date of coming into force of this Act, the existing Hojai College shall be deemed to have been upgraded to Rabindranath Tagore University. All aspects of teaching and research shall be discussed in and decided by the University.
