(3)The resignation referred to in sub-rule (1) or sub-rule (2) above shall take effect from the date of its acceptance [or on the expiry of thirty days from the date of receipt of such resignation, whichever is earlier] [ Inserted by S.R.O. 2062, dated 14.6.1957.] by the Chairman or the Central Government, as the case may be.
