Section 46(2) in The Maharashtra Zilla Parishads and Panchayat Samitis Act, 1961
(2)[The President may be provided without payment of rent the use of furnished residential accommodation or subject to such rules as the State Government may make in this behalf, such house rent allowance in lieu thereof as may be deemed suitable by the Zilla Parishad] [This portion was deemed always to have been substituted for portion beginning with 'The President' and ending with 'the Zilla Parishad' by Maharashtra 8 of 1996, Section 2.] and shall be given such travelling and other allowances as may be prescribed by the State Government.
