39. The election papers.
(1)The Returning Officer shall after reporting the result of the election, forward all papers pertaining to election to the District Panchayat Election Officer for safe custody.(2)The District Panchayat Election Officer shall keep the papers so forwarded to him in safe custody for such time as the Election Authority may decide.
