23. Certain sections not to apply to Chief Minister, Minister, etc.
- The provisions of sections 3, 13, 14, [19 and 22] [Substituted by the Amendment Act 7 of 2008 which came into force w.e.f. 5-5-08 i.e. the day Governor assented to the Act.] of this Act shall not be applicable to a member who is appointed as the Chief Minister, a Minister, a Minister of State, a Deputy Minister, or elected as the Speaker or Deputy Speaker.
