Section 12(1) in Dr. Abdul Haq Urdu University Act, 2016
(1)The Vice-Chancellor shall, by virtue of his office, be a member and Chairperson of the Executive Council and of the Academic Senate and shall preside at the Convocation of the University in the absence of the Chancellor.
