Section 555(1) in The Calcutta Municipal Corporation Act, 1980
(1)Every licence, written permission, notice, bill, summons or other document, which is required by this Act or the rules or the regulations made thereunder to bear the signature of the Municipal Commissioner or any other officer of the Corporation, shall be deemed to be properly signed if it bears a facsimile of the signature of the Municipal Commissioner or such officer, as the case may be, stamped thereupon.
