Heard Mr. A.P. Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner who has centered his argument only on the contents of the affidavit dated 02.09.2025 wherein by way of the said affidavit, the petitioner has brought to the notice of this Court the public notice dated 20.08.2025 issued by the Administrator, CMJ University. In short, the purport of the notice is to invalidate all degrees issued by the CMJ University in or after 2014 and the last date for receipt of any queries, grievances and claims has been fixed as 05.09.2025. It is precisely because of this timeline of 05.09.2025 that the learned counsel has expressed his apprehension that proper procedure has not been followed in spite of the presence of this petition before this Court which is yet to be finally heard. It is prayed that in the meantime the operation of this public notice be stayed.
Mr. Philemon Nongbri, learned counsel for the respondents has submitted that he may be allowed to file a response to the said affidavit.
