Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for issuance of appropriate direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 not to harass the petitioners at the behest of respondent Nos.4 and 5 with a further direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to restrain respondent Nos.4 and 5 from interfering in their married life.

On the basis of reply filed by way of affidavit of Sh. Vishaljit Singh, PPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police, West, Amritsar City on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3 and on instructions from HC Daljit Singh, learned State Counsel states that petitioner No.1 and respondent Nos.4 and 5 have made their statements. So far as petitioner No.1-Gurwinderjit Kaur is concerned, she has stated that though she had filed a petition for protection of their life and liberty, but now her husband is working and living in Doha Qatar (Abroad) and she does not apprehend any threat from 1 of 2 ::: Downloaded on - 08-10-2018 02:43:08 ::: CRM-M-15879-2018 2 her parents. Therefore, no more protection is required.

Similarly, respondent Nos.4 and 5 have also submitted that neither they have any enmity with the petitioners nor they are extending any threats to the petitioners as alleged.

In view of the statement so made by petitioner No.1 as well as respondent Nos.4 and 5, nothing survives in the present petition and the same has been rendered infructuous.

Dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
