Section 30(2) in The Orissa Municipal Employees' Pension Rules, 1989
(2)No medical certificate of incapacity for service may be granted unless the applicant produces a letter to show that the concerned Chairman is aware of his intention to appear before the examining Medical Officer. The examining Medical Officer shall also be supplied concerned Chairman with a statement of what appears from official records to be the applicant's age.
