Section 392(c) in The U.P. Co-operative Societies Rules, 1968
(c)The Committee of Management nominated under sub-rule (a) shall, in the manner laid down in Rule 437, elect a Chairman and a Vice-Chairman of the society from amongst themselves in their first meeting. The term of the Chairman and Vice-Chairman so elected shall be co-existensive with the term of the nominated Committee of Management.
