ORDER:-
The petitioners claim that they have been given DKT Pattas over various extents of land in Sy.No.381/1B and 6B of Kothapeta Village, Vetapalem Mandal, Prakasam District and claim that the respondents are seeking to dispossess them from the said land for allotment of these sites to other persons.
The learned Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions submits that the petitioners 1, 7, 8 & 9 had been given DKT Pattas. However, petitioners 2 to 6 were not given any DKT Pattas. As far as the DKT Pattas given to the petitioners 1, 7 to 9 are concerned, the said DKT pattas have been cancelled and the land resumed by proceedings bearing RCB 306/19, dated 27.12.2019 after show cause notice dated 28.08.2019 had been issued to the petitioners.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that no such notices were received by the petitioners and in any event the petitioners 2 to 6 had also been allotted land by way of DKT Pattas.
In view of the fact that the said DKT pattas have now been cancelled, no further relief can be granted in the present wit petition.
However, it would be open to the petitioners to take appropriate steps for challenging the said proceedings dated 2 27.12.2019 in accordance with law. For that purpose, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue shall furnish a copy of the said proceedings to the learned counsel for the petitioners.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, in this Writ petition, shall stands closed.
