Section 34(3) in The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Act, 1981
(3)The Mayor, the Deputy Mayor, the councillor or the chairman, as the case may be, presiding at a meeting of the council or committee shall preserve order and shall decide all points of order and procedure arising at or in connection with meetings. There shall be no discussion on any point of order and the decision of the Mayor, the Deputy Mayor, the councillor presiding or the chairman thereon, shall save as it otherwise expressly provided in this Act, be final.
