(2)The officer, on the receipt of the complaint, shall cause the cotton package or bale in respect of which the complaint has been made, to be seized and sealed and forward sample of sealed cotton to the Deputy Directory of Agriculture or the Circle concerned of the Cotton Extension Officer, Haryana, for examination and report,Note. - Fee prescribed above shall be recoverable in the case of bales in respect of actual number of bales to be opened for examination (subject to a minimum of ten per cent of a consignment) and not in respect of the total number of bales in respect of which the complaint is made.
