Section 14(4)(b) in The Postgraduate Medical Education Regulations, 2000

(b)Theory - (i) There shall be four theory papers.
(ii)Out of these one shall be of [Basic Medical Sciences] [Substituted by Notification No. MCI-18(1)/2008-Medical/29544, dated 20.10.2008, (w.e.f. 22.8.2008).] and one shall be of recent advances.
