Section 60 in Kerala Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1986
60. General penalty.
- Whoever, in any case in which a penalty is not expressly provided by this Act or any rule or regulations made thereunder, contravenes the provisions of this Act or any rule or regulation made thereunder or fails to comply with any notice, order or requisition issued under this Act or any rule or regulation made there under shall be punishable with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees and in the case of a continuing failure or contravention, with an additional fine which may extend to twenty five rupees for every day on which such contravention or failure continues after the first conviction.
