Section 39(4)(a) in The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences, Bangalore Regulations, 2013

(a)Any institute employee who is in Group A or Group B service or post and had entered the service of the Institute before attaining the age of thirty five years may, by giving notice of not less than three months in writing to the appointing authority, retire from service after he has attained the age of fifty years;
