1219. Travelling allowances for journey to join first appointment.
- The Inspector-General and Deputy Inspector-General are empowered under S. R. 103 of the Fundamental Rules to permit a non-gazetted subordinate whether appointed to a temporary or permanent post, to draw travelling allowance for the journey to join his first appointment in the public service. In selecting men from up-country or other districts, Superintendents shall always bear this in mind.
