42. Procedure for making Regulations.-(I) The Academic
Council may, subject to the approval of the Syndicate, makeRegulations consistent with this Act and the Statutes and theOrdinances of the University.(2)The Regulations may provide for the exercise of allor any of the powers enumerated in section 24 of this Act.(3)Every Regulations shall come into force on the dateof its publication in the Gazette or such other date as theSyndicate may direct.
