Section 24 in The West Bengal Marine Fishing Regulation Act, 1993
24. Protection of action taken in good faith.
(1)No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against the State Government or any officer of that Government or any officer or other person authorised by that Government for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act or the rules or the orders made thereunder.(2)No suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the State Government or any officer of that Government or any officer or other person authorised by that Government for any damage caused or likely to be caused by anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act or the rules or the orders made thereunder.
