Section 3(1)(a) in The Assam Engineering (Irrigation Department) Service Rules, 1978

(a)Class I (Senior Grade) : It shall include the cadres-

(i)Secretary to Government,

(ii)Chief Engineer,

(iii)Additional Chief Engineer, and

(iv)Superintending Engineer.
