(7)Until the vacancy is filled under sub-section (6) or [until such time as the Chancellor appoints a [Kulpati (Vice-Chancellor)] [Substituted by U.P Act 29 of 1974, vide Section 27 for The Vice-Chancellor]; the [KulSachiv (Registrar)] [ Substituted by U.P. Act 29 of 1974, vide section 27] shall carry on the current duties of the office of Vice Chancellor.
