Section 23(3) in U.P. Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1983
(3)If the congtractor fails to send the telegraphic intimation and/or written report as required under sub-rule (2), the principal employer shall comply with the requirements of sub-rule (2) as early as possible in any case not later than forty-eight hours of the time of occurrence of the accident.
