(Signed Order is placed on the file) Signature Not Verified Digitally signed by Vishal Anand Date: 2015.11.27 16:20:11 EASST Reason: IN THE SUPREME COURT OF INDIA CRIMINAL APPELLATE JURISDICTION Criminal Appeal No(s). 2141/2013 STATE OF M.P. Appellant(s) VERSUS RAMPAL Respondent(s) O R D E R We have heard Mr. Naveen Sharma, learned counsel appearing for the appellant – State of Madhya Pradesh at length today. We have been taken through the Judgments of the Trial Court as well as the High Court delivered in this matter. We have also taken a note of the evidences deposed by the witnesses in this matter. According to us, the High Court after analyzing the evidences has correctly assessed the same and came to the right conclusion acquitting the accused – respondent of the charges levelled against him.

Accordingly, we do not find any reason to interfere with the impugned Judgment and Order dated 16-04-2007 so passed by the High Court of Madhya Pradesh at Jabalpur. In view of that, we find no merit in the appeal filed by the appellant - State.

Accordingly, the Criminal Appeal is dismissed. However, we must express our gratitude to Mr. Rajiv Nanda, learned Amicus Curiae who was appearing on behalf of the accused – respondent and helped us to come to such a conclusion.
