- Where any person has died from any dangerous disease in any municipal area, the Chief Officer of the Municipality may, by notice in writing, -(a)Require any person having charge of the corpse to convey the same to mortuary and thereafter to be disposed of in accordance with law; or(b)Prohibit the removal of corpses from the place where death occurred except for the purpose of being burnt or buried or being conveyed to a mortuary.
