Section 15(1) in Assam Adoption of Standard Weights Act, 1955
(1)An Inspector may inspect all weights or weighing instruments within the area under his charge, which are used by or are in the possession of any person, or are on any premises for sale or use for trade, and may verify every such weight or weighing instrument with a secondary or working standard or weighing instrument prescribed for the purpose.
