Section 15(f) in Police Regulations, Calcutta, 1968
(f)If an application is made under section 526 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898, and if it is considered that it should be opposed, the Commissioner shall immediately send to the Legal Remembrancer clear and full instructions for the Counsel who will oppose it.
