Section 2(ii) in Jammu and Kashmir Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1957
(ii)['taxation officer'] [Substituted 'licensing officer' by Act, XIX of 1962.] means an officer appointed by the Government to exercise the powers and perform the functions of a ['taxation officer'] [Substituted 'licensing officer' by Act, XIX of 1962.] under this Act ;
