Section 6(2) in Gujarat Organic Agricultural University Act, 2017
(2)Subject to the provisions under sub-section (1), the University shall reserve seats for the person belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes specified by the Government or candidates from other States in India:Provided that no such person shall be entitled to be admitted to the University unless he meets the standards prescribed in respect of such candidates.
