46. Subjects to be noticed.
- The diary should contain remarks on such of the following points as may call for notice; date; name of place visited; general condition of the country; state of crop; public feeling and health; any interesting facts elicited in conversation with persons of influence and position or with other classes; relations between landlords and tenants; state of roads; wards and Government estates; progress of local work; anything remarkable in connection with movements of people or traffic in food staples, and the like; rise and decay of local industries, etc.
