Section 44(1) in The Telangana Panchayat Raj (Conduct of Elections) Rules, 2018
(1)Every elector about whose identity the Presiding Officer or the Polling Officer, as the case may be, is satisfied shall allow -(a)the inspection of his left fore-finger by the Polling Officer; and(b)an indelible ink mark to be put on his left fore-finger.
