Section 6(b) in Patna High Court Establishment (Appointment) Rules, 1997
(b)Class III, Class IV and other posts. - The Registrar General shall be the Appointing Authority for appointments against all Class III and Class IV posts, including of daily wage employee. He will however make such appointment with prior approval of the Chief Justice.
