Section 37(1) in Karnataka Janapada Vishwavidyalaya Act, 2011
(1)A person shall be disqualified for election or nomination as a member of any of the authorities of the University, if on the date of such election or nomination, if he is,-(a)of unsound mind; or(b)adjudicated as an insolvent or an undischarged insolvent; or(c)sentenced by a criminal court to imprisonment for any offence involving moral turpitude.
