Section 53(1) in The Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Madhya Pradesh Rules, 1981
(1)All registers and other records required to be maintained under the Act and the rules, shall be maintained complete and up to date, and, unless otherwise provided for, shall be kept at an office or the nearest convenient building within the precincts of the workplace or at a place, if any specified by the Inspector on the specific request made by the contractor in this behalf.
