Section 17 in The Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2003
17. Substitution of Second Schedule by a new Schedule.-
For the Second Schedule to the principal Act, the following Schedule shall be substituted, namely:-THE SECOND SCHEDULE OATH OF ALLEGIANCE"THE SECOND SCHEDULE [ See sections 5 (2) and 6 (2)]OATH OF ALLEGIANCE I, A B..................... do solemnly affirm (or swear) that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of India as by law established, and that I will faithfully observe the laws of India and fulfil my duties as a citizen of India.".
