1. The present MCC has been filed seeking for an extension of time for compliance of the directives given by this Court in WP (PIL) No. 51 of 2015 decided on 13/09/17.
2. One of the grounds raised by the applicants seeking extension of time is that the complaince could not be completed within the stipulated period, on account of non-availability of a presiding member in the Board of Revenue, and now the appointments have been made further delay took place on account of service of notice to the parties not being able to be effected timely.
3. Considering the reasons assigned in the MCC and finding them to be satisfactory, we are of the opinion that a strong case for extension of time has been made out. Accordingly, the State is granted 6 months' further time to comply with the order.
4. The State is further directed to ensure that strict instruction should be given to the officers concerned to ensure that the order stands complied with, within the extended period.
