Section 24(1) in The Bidhan Chandra Krishi (Viswavidyalaya) Act, 1974.
(1)The Comptroller shall be a whole-time officer of the University and shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor subject to the approval of the [Executive Council] [Words substituted for the word 'Board' by W. B. Act 31 of 1981.] and the Chancellor.
