Section 2(i) in The Bombay Secondary School Certificate Examination Act, 1948
(i)"text book" means any book prescribed or recommended for the examination [by the Board] [These words were inserted by Bombay 56 of 1953, section 2(iii) (w.e.f. 31-12-1963).] and includes a guide-book containing annotations on such text book;
